The food here wasn't bad but it wasn't like the old Hill Top. I was surprised they didn't serve Chicken Pot pie the night I was there. Thought it was better as HT.

Great food!

The food at Blue Plate is extraordinary. We tried it on recommendation of a gourmet friend who was very impressed. Ambiance is pretty good once you entered the dining area of the restaurant with dim lighting, good background-volume dinner music and fresh flowers. Service was good but our water was not refilled, I had to ask for pepper for my salad and there was an attempt to remove our plates before we were finished eating. I want to point out that we were, in no way, rushed. I think the attempt to remove the plates was purely an oversight as to whether we were finished or not. Wait staff was attentive otherwise and the food was fabulous even though a little pricey for the area.

great food !!!!

I had dinner there a week ago with a friend and was blown away. It has changed hands a few years ago and now the food is first class along with the service. I cant wait to go back and experience this restaurant again. This is such a romantic spot for a date!!!!
